George Forst Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2020, at the age of 71, George Forst of New Ulm, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jerome Forst; his granddaughter Addison Berdan; and his parents, Edward Forst and Odelia Forst (Beranek). He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Forst of New Ulm; his children, Wendy Hoffmann (Rick) of Sleepy Eye, Jill M. Berdan (Tony) of New Ulm, Derek Forst (Shelli Martin) of New Ulm and Justin Forst (Kristy) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Dylan Owens, Cole Owens, Alexa Owens, McKenna Osborne (Isaiah), Koby Berdan, Kinley Berdan and Kyan Forst; his stepgrandchildren, Jesse Hoffmann (Emily) and ShyAnn Hoffmann (Bradley Depuydt); his stepgreat-grandson James Hoffmann; his sister-in-law Alma Forst of St. George; and his brothers, Donald Forst (Charlene) of Gibbon, Richard Forst (Joan) of Fairfax, Bernard Forst of Louisville and Mark Forst (Linda) of Fairfax. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Social distancing guidelines must be practiced at all times, and all guests in attendance at the visitation and funeral will be required to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
