Gene Rodewald Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Rodewald of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Gibbon, Minnesota, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Rodewald and Verona Rodewald (Uetzmann); his sister Sharon Just; and his sister-in-law Lila Laabs Schwecke. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Lieske; his children, Lee, Duane (Karen), Judy Martens (Steve) and Steve (Carissa); his grandchildren, Bob (Laura), Kevin (Kaitlyn), Michael (Esther), Jacob Martens, Lucas, Daniel (Hannah), Joseph Rodewald (Hannah), Emma Griebel (Tucker), Ashlyn and Norah Rodewald; his sisters, Ardis Haag (Keith) and Carol Stuebs (Paul); and his brothers-in-law, Allan Just (Kathy) and Morris Lieske (Julie). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
