He was predeceased by: his stepfather George Lendt; his brother Carlyle Syverson; his sister-in-law Donna Snyder (Windschitl); and his parents, James Syverson and Helen Syverson (Marti).
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Syverson of New Ulm; his children, Sherri Winkelman (Mark) of Dassel, Lynae Frauendienst (Wade) of Buffalo and Michael Syverson (Holly) of New Ulm; his brother Philip Lendt of New Ulm; and his brother-in-law Ronald Windschitl (Carol) of Comfrey. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
