He was predeceased by: his brother Roger Dallmann; and his parents, Leonhard Dallmann and Eldora Dallmann (Thom). He is survived by: his wife Diane Dallmann of New Ulm; his children, Shannon Gibson (Guy) of Bertram, Iowa and Brett Dallmann (Laurel) of Ham Lake; his stepchildren, Kathy Schiesl (Mark) of Brookings, Kevin Mitchell (Andrea) of Centennial and Kyle Mitchell (Jill Nelson) of Lake Villa, Illinois; his grandchildren, Michon McDaniel (Justin) of Hiawatha and Chase Dallmann of Blaine; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Schiesl of Brookings, Kailey Swienton (Max) of Thornton, Ashley Cook of New Prague, Mikayla Mitchell of Centennial, Colorado, Elizabeth Mitchell of Centennial, Colorado and Olivia Mitchell of Centennial, Colorado; his great grandchild Keon McDaniel; his sister Ronda Hackbarth (Fritz) of Onalaska, Wisconsin; his sister-in-law Barb Dallmann of Greenfield, Wisconsin; and his friend Don Kassuelke of New Ulm. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Martin Luther College (MLC) of New Ulm, St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Ulm, or the donor's choice. Excess memorials will be donated in Gary's honor to continued Parkinson's research.
