He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ben Jr., Sylvester and Gerald; his siblings-in-law, Ted Metzen, Delores Brunner, Wanda and Edward Maidl (Jane); and his parents, Benedict Brunner and Catherine Brunner (Brandel).
He is survived by: his wife Janette Maidl; his son Gregory; his daughter-in-law Cindy; his grandsons, Justin of New Ulm and Kyle of New Ulm; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Blomquist (Kent), Arline Brunner, Arlene Metzen and Ralph Maidl (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and specials friends.
