He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Alwin and Bertha Alwin (Gluth); his brother Wallace Alwin; and his son-in-law Michael Joyce. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Neuenfeldt; his wife Carol Alwin of New Ulm; and his children, Julie Brown (Mike) of Elk River, Lauri Hansen (John) of Milwaukee, WI, Susan Joyce (Jon Bremseth) of Naples, FL, Jodie Alwin (Wayne Scanlan) of Hugo and Steve Alwin (Rachel) of Chandler, AZ. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Floyd would like memorials to go to the First United Methodist Church in New Ulm or Friends of Flandrau.
