It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Marie VanderLouw of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Dana Jorgenson; her grandchildren, Liberty Jorgenson, Cody VanderLouw and Milo VanderLouw; her brothers, Orlo, Larry, John and Richard Steffen; and her parents, Henry Steffen and Florence Steffen (Kropp).
She is survived by: her children, Darcy Frober (Ron Fitzel) of Apple Valley, Daniel "Danny" VanderLouw of New Ulm and Larry VanderLouw (Laura Schaefer) of Owatonna; and her granddaughter Savannah Hess of New Ulm. She is also survived by her 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (627 S Washington St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Morton City Cemetery (67432-67600 340th St, Morton, MN 56270).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
