Eva Klassen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Klassen of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Klassen Sr.; her great grandchild Matthew Leonardy; her siblings, Lydia, Ursula, Elfriede, Waltraut, Herbert and Sigfried Mueller; and her parents, Johann Mueller and Katharina Mueller (Lemke).

She is survived by: her children, Larissa Hummer (Don) of Sartell, Wayne Klassen (Marney Butz) of New Ulm and Victor Klassen (Melanie) of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Justin Meidl (Sarah) of Rice, Stephanie Leonardy (Jason) of Sartell, Jennifer Gareis (Chris) of Chaska, Ashley Behnke (Elijah) of Oconto, Joshua Klassen (Niki) of New Ulm, Zachary Klassen (Julie) of St. Paul, Katelyn Komaniecki (Sonny) of Ithaca and Ryan Hummer (Eryn) of Madison, Wisconsin; her siblings, Edith Bauer (Harold) of Windom, Alfred Mueller (Maxine) of Akeley and Erwin Mueller of Paso Robles, California; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Mueller of Placerville, Natasha Oussenko of Chicago and Olga Hasemann (John) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
