He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Zupfer; his sisters, Lorraine Krohn, Agnes Langhoff, Delores Langhoff and Frances Miller; his half-brothers, Lester and Norman Boelter; his brothers-in-law, Vernon Vogel, LeRoy Brueske, Barney Neuman, Clyde Thomas, Orville Polzin, Emery Langhoff, Richard "Dick" Langhoff, Elmo Krohn and Floyd Miller; and his parents, Herman Boelter and Frieda Boelter (Gerhke).
He is survived by: his sons, Tony Boelter (Carol) of New Ulm and Dean Boelter (Julie) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Ryan Boelter (Jessica) of New Ulm, Kelly Stadtherr (Jason) of New Ulm, Josh Boelter (Emily) of New Ulm, Jessica Bradford (Arthur) of Dubuque and Jen Boelter (Paul Kowalenko) of Apple Valley; his sisters, Irene Vogel of Courtland, Marion Brueske of New Ulm, Geneva Thomas of Marshall and Bernice Polzin of New Auburn; and his close friend Gerri Wilfahrt. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
