It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ervin Helget (New Ulm, Minnesota), born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who passed away on February 24, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Darla Helget; and his parents, Wenzel Helget and Clara Helget (Schroepher). He is survived by: his wife Janice Helget; his children, Kelly Helget (Teresa) of Ely, MN, Shery Moody of Mankato, MN and Dawn Schoenstedt (Michael); his grandchildren, Jason Moody (Kaylee), Jamie Randall (Tom), Jesse Moody, Cori Helget, Amy Helget, Nicole Helget, Greg Helget, Sophia Schoenstedt and Nicholas Schoenstedt; and his sisters, Rosemary Kral of New Ulm and Valeria Schiller of New Ulm. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
