He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Schauland; his son-in-law Dewey Compton; and his parents, Carl Schauland and Louise Schauland (Diedrich) of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota.. He is survived by: his children, Judith Compton of Colorado Springs, Kerry Schauland (Stephanie) of Woodland Park, Steven Schauland (Jennifer) of Nevis, Kenneth Schauland (Marlene) of Lewiston and Vicki Kiecker (Bruce) of Gibbon. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
