She was predeceased by: her husband Merrill Ernst; her son-in-law Kenneth Spoon; her siblings, Harvey, Harry, Milton, Herman, Roland, Willmer, Irene, Marlene, Alice, Valeria and Marion; her brothers-in-law, Orley Buboltz, Art Freyholtz and Earnest Eoenson; and her parents, Ferdinand Ruschmeyer and Margareth Ruschmeyer (Dams).
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Spoon of New Ulm and LeRoy Ernst (Connie) of South Haven; her grandchildren, Cindy Runge (Ron) of Welcome, Kayla Berg (Al) of New Ulm and James Spoon (Sara) of New Ulm; her great grandchildren, Ericha Rupp (Adam), Britteny Runge, Courtney Olsen (Chad), Nathan Berg, David Berg and Justin Berg; her great great grandchild Cerise Rupp; her brother Melroy Ruschmeyer of Fairfax; and her sister-in-law Marion Ruschmeyer of Mankato. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
