He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dummer and Helen Wendinger Dummer of New Ulm; his wife Pat; his sons, Douglas and Mark; his brother George Dummer; his parents-in-law, Joe and Cecilia Haas; his brother-in-law Kenny Haas; and his nephew David Palmer.

He is survived by: his in-laws, Jean Dummer, Elaine, John Palmer, Tom Penkert, Donnie, Connie Haas and Carol Haas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
