Dwain Quentin Nielsen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dwain Quentin Nielsen of New Ulm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Beverly Lohaus; his niece Juila Kiewel; his brothers-in-law, Robert Lohaus and Richard Barnell; and his parents, Alfred Nielsen and Tracy Nielsen (Klein).
He is survived by: his sister Jeanette Barnell; his niece Kathleen Dupont (Ronald); and his nephews, Daniel Barnell, Brian, Bradley and Bruce Lohaus. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home- South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Brown County Humane Society, or donor's choice.
