It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Peters of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Bird Island, Minnesota, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Elaine Hogar and Barbara Dahl; her granddaughter Katie Peters; her niece Bethany Dahl; and her parents, Edward Jueneman and Frances Jueneman (Hagert).
She is survived by: her husband Layton Peters of New Ulm; her children, Jan Peters of Mankato and Jeffrey Peters (Cathy) of Litchfield; her grandchildren, Angela McCabe (Terence) of Farmington, Steven Peters (Melissa) of Litchfield and Scott Peters (Jackie) of Alexandria; and her sister Sharon Sturm (Robert) of Springfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Social distancing guidelines must be practiced at all times, and all guests in attendance at the visitation and funeral will be required to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
