He is survived by: his children, Kathy Hasse (Randy) of Waverly, Kevin Portner (Linda) of Courtland and Doug Portner (Becky) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Gina Dehmer (Joel), Scott Hasse (Kristyn), Tiffany Portner, Amber Portner (Brandon Anderson), Preston Portner (Amber) and Nick Portner; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Briella Dehmer, Olive, Stella, Lucas Hasse, Hudson and Kate Portner; his sister Donna Reiser (Portner); and his siblings-in-law, Rosadell Portner, JoAnn Eckstein, Melvin Klinkner and Melvin Eckstein (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
