He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Mason Bode; his siblings, Marion Zimmermann, Harriet Hoffrogge, Carmen Kaesmeyer, Elaine Selby, Charlotte Zimmerman, Lyle, Ralph and Rodney Bode; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Bode, William Osborne, Wallace Thompson, Norman Ohland, Victor Kaesmeyer, Charles Zimmermann and George Hoffrogge; and his parents, Gerhard Bode and Agnes Bode (Lange).
He is survived by: his wife Margo Bode of Courtland; his sons, Randy Bode (Sara) of Courtland and Terry Bode (Rachell Welsch) of Nicollet; his grandchildren, Ben Bode of Mankato, Travis Bode (Laura) of Maple Grove, Kaitlyn Braesch (Eric) of Shakopee and Riley Gieseke of Courtland; his sisters, Bernice Thompson of St. Peter, Marcella Ohland of Hutchinson, Lois Ditzler (Donald) of Manchester, Geraldine Schmidt (Gary) of North Mankato, Sharon Osborne of St. Peter and Virginia Jakobe of Mankato; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Bode of New Ulm, Eugene Selby of Nicollet and David Zimmerman of Morris. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
