He was predeceased by: his siblings, Theresa, Yvonne, Kathleen, Jeanette and Jerry "Joe"; and his parents, Ernest Balbach and Sara Balbach (Cartin).
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Balbach; and his children, Debbie Foran of Monticello, IL, Cheryl Kaeding (Terry) of Monticello, IL, Jodi Sackett (Jim) of Greenville, SC, Jeff Balbach of Tyler, Jerry Balbach (Julaine) of New Ulm and Jon Balbach (Connie) of Bemidji. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Brown County Veterans Association, Oak Hills Living Center, or donor's choice.
