She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Carol Dale of Sleepy Eye, Gerry Schroeder (Sheri) of Litchfield, David Schroeder (Jean) of New Ulm and Richard Schroeder (Jean) of New Ulm; her siblings, Virginia Condon of Silver Lake, Elaine Jenniges (Alf) of Brainerd, Theresa Buechner of New Ulm, Rose Baune of Willmar, Alvin Baune (Darlene) of Hutchinson, Bernard Baune of New Ulm and Sylvester Baune of Litchfield; her parents, Clarence Baune and Marie Baune (Pelzel); and her spouse Leslie Schroeder. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
