With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dolores R. Baier of New Ulm, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Baier; her parents, Reuben Welke and Grace Welke (Anderson); her sister Lonnie Wiesler; her mother-in-law Estelle Baier; and her in-laws, Duane "Doc" Ellanson, Gerald Miller, Lyneece Welke, Monica Welke, Darv Baier, Donna Alfson and Wayne Alfson.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Zupfer of New Ulm, Sherry Bottenfield (Eric Pearse) of New Ulm, Greg Baier of Andover and Tony Baier of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Brady Zupfer (Jasmine), Amanda Zupfer and Julian Pearse; her siblings, Leatrice Ellanson of New Ulm, Sharon Miller of Hanska, Jerry Welke of New Ulm and Roger Welke of Madelia; and her sister-in-law Jean Baier of Rogers, AR. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
