With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Wegner of New Ulm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennis Wegner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Wegner; his son Dean Wegner; and his parents, Herbert Wegner and Mildred Wegner (VanBrunt). He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia "Pat" Gray (Bill) of Butterfield and Priscilla Wegner of Comfrey; his nephews, Michael Wegner and Cristoffer Bertilson; his great-niece Isabelle Wegner; his pet Sparky; and his close friends, Jim and Dinah Skalicky. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1400 S State St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Ulm City Cemetery Cemetery.
