He was predeceased by: his father Waldon "Wally" Shavlik; his grandfathers, Archie Shavlik (Velma) and Henry Preisinger (Delores); and his uncles, Gene Shavlik and Richard Preisinger.
He is survived by: his mother Sharon Shavlik (Preisinger) of New Ulm; his brother Michael Shavlik (Denise) of Lakeville; his nephews, Desmond and Dexter Shavlik; and his pet Gabriel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
