He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schieffert and Agnes Schieffert; and his parent-in-law George. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Schieffert; his children, Paul Schieffert (Laura) and Lisa Smith (Wayne); his grandchildren, Ava Schieffert, Gabby Smith and Sienna Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Don Windschitl and Gerald Windschitl.
