She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kurkowski and Irene Kurkowski (Wojcik); her stepfather Walter Block; her grandparents, Leo and Anna Wojcik; her brother Joseph Kurkowski; her stepsister Sandra Tauer; and her sister-in-law Sue Kurkowski.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome "Jerry" Richter; her children, Jacqueline Helget (Michael) and Terrence Richter; her grandchildren, Joseph Helget (Megan Pawlenty), Ashley O'Connor (Rick) and Anna Helget Evansen (Wesley); her great grandchildren, Anthony, Jesse and Nora; her siblings, Maxine Kurkowski, Arlene Sperl (Dennis), Gerald Kurkowski and Ronald Kurkowski (Karen); her stepbrother James Block (Dorothy); and her sister-in-law Francoise Kurkowski.
