She is survived by: her brother Tom Giefer (Betty) of New Ulm; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Steffl (Dan) of Sleepy Eye, Joan Johnson (Mark) of North Mankato, Jay Giefer of New Ulm and John Giefer (Renee) of Courtland. She is also survived by 11 great-nieces and nephews; 2 great-great nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
