She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Drahota; her son Ronald Paul Hammerschmidt (Michele) of New Ulm; and her parents, Vernon Sprague and Lucille Sprague (Maday). She is survived by: her children, Kim Schaefer (Mark) of New Ulm, Julie Beinborn (Douglas) of Rochester and Christopher Drahota (Jessica) of Lakeville; her grandchildren, Taylor Drahota (Emily), Laura Dohrmann (Keith), Riley Drahota (Emily), Abigail Smith (Ryan), Julia Schaefer, Alexander Schaefer and Grace Torgerson (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Esther Torgerson, Gavin Dohrmann, Blakely Smith, Emma Drahota, Levi Dohrmann, Carson Drahota and Brooklyn Smith; her siblings, Vernon Sprague, Jr. and Mary Meyer; and her pets, Tessa and Flynn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (605 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
