Bonita Smasal Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonita Smasal (New Ulm, Minnesota), who passed away on January 21, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Shane Tauer; and her parents, Clifford Smasal and Florella Smasal (Bushard). She is survived by: her daughter Amy Drexler of Hanska; her siblings, Julie Sandau (Jerry) of New Ulm, Christine Honzay (Chuck), Frank Smasal (Dianne) of Madison Lake, Mark Smasal (Trish) of St. George, Kevin Smasal of Mankato and Neal Smasal (Linda) of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Joshua Drexler, Jordan Drexler and Jenna Krueger; and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Hudson, Marlee, Kylee, Hunter, Leigha and Easton.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Alzheimer's Association and Parkinson's Foundation.
