It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernita Lappe of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Comfrey, Minnesota, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Lappe; her children, Sharon Kay Lappe and Frank Lappe; her brothers, Donald Ray and Joseph Thobe; and her parents, Frank Thobe and Julia Thobe (Steinkamp).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lappe of New Ulm and Lois Helget (Daryl) of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Lyndsey Beranek (Keith) of New Ulm, Krystal Loula (Joe) of St. Peter and Holly Helget of Minneapolis; her great grandchildren, Jared, Chloe, Morgan Beranek, Ashlyn, Kaelyn and Claire Loula; and also Deb Zahn. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
