It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benedict Robert Brunner of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Danny Widmer; his brothers, Sylvester Brunner (Delores) and Gerald Brunner; and his parents, Benedict F. Brunner and Catherine Brunner (Brandel).
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Brunner of New Ulm; his daughters, Deb Widmer (Dan) of Springfield and Cindy Kuehn (Greg) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Bob Widmer (Amber Hurrle) of Kimball, Kevin Widmer (Brittney) of Arden Hills, Kyle Kuehn (Jamie) of New Ulm and Eric Kuehn (Katie Goulet) of Burnsville; his great grandchildren, Isla, Dawson, Everett, Audrey and Elijah; his brother Francis Brunner (Janette) of New Ulm; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Brunner of New Ulm and Gloria Melquist of Magnolia, Delaware. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
