She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick "Fritz" Adams and Geraldine Adams (Wiggins); her husband Ron Ries; her son Jason Ries; her granddaughter Grace Vorwerk; her great grandchild Liam Forst; and her siblings-in-law, Maury Ries, Bobby Grussendorf, Earl Johnson, David Ries, Clara Ries and Karen Ries.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Forst (Glenn) of Gibbon and Jenny Vorwerk (Chris) of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Megan Polgreen (Ben), Ben Forst (Val), Molly Helget (Jacob), Brody Forst, Elissa Ries, Alex Vorwerk, Allyson Vorwerk and Ajax Vorwerk; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Marshall Polgreen, Sean, Connor, Nolan Forst, Noah and Joanna Helget; her sisters, Patty Adams (Dennis Hallaway) of Eagle Lake and Cathy Adams of New Ulm; and her sisters-in-law, LaVonne Grussendorf of New Ulm, Sharon Johnson of Fairmont and Mardell Stueber (Larry) of New Ulm. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Church (63105 Fort Rd, New Ulm, MN 56073).
