Audrey G. Rieger Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey G. Rieger of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Saint James, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Quentin "Wimpy" Rieger of John's Catholic Church; her siblings, Melvin Ewy (Mabel) and Louise Greier (Vic); her brother-in-law Roy Trullinger; and her parents, Alfred Ewy and Geneva Ewy.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Fluegge (Greg) of New Ulm, Dawn Oswald (Allen) of Lafayette, Todd Rieger (Dawn) of New Ulm and Kurt Rieger (Amy) of Dassell; her grandchildren, Scott (Rachel), Linda (Ralph), Nathan, LeighAnn (Alec), Megan (Tyler), Nicole, Matt, Ethan (Sarah), Hannah and Erik; and her sisters, Shirley Trullinger of Hanover, MN and Patricia Valdez (Fred) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Ulm South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
