Anthony Leo Sellner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Leo Sellner of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Anthony departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Anthony. Though Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Richard Wildt and James Mathiowetz; and his parents, Arnold Sellner and Martha Sellner (Domeier). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Sellner of New Ulm; his daughter Mary Orr (Charles) of East Falmouth, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Jamison Orr (Camilla) of Charlotte and Justin Orr of East Falmouth, Massachusetts; and his sisters, Rosemary Klingler (James) of New Ulm, Agnes Wildt of New Ulm and Lucille Mathiowetz of Sleepy Eye. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home North Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (417 S Minnesota St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
