Alvin J. Windschitl Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2022, at the age of 92, Alvin J. Windschitl of New Ulm, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Grace Windschitl; his siblings, Marie Landsteiner (Joe), Lois Tuzinkski (Hank), Raymond Windschitl (Leora), Arnold Windschitl (Loretta) and Lyle Windschitl (Florence); his siblings-in-law, Lauren Stueber, Doris Pfarr (Robert), Robert Rotering, Roger Rotering and Bob Walkush; and his parents, Anton Windschitl and Frances Windschitl (Hillesheim).
He is survived by: his children, Ann Dalhoff (Bill) of Chanhassen, Bonnie Vrchota (Don) of Lakefield, Mary Eckstein (Joe) of New Ulm and David Windschitl (Lori) of Crystal; his grandchildren, Tony Dalhoff, Kristin Dalhoff, John Vrchota, Heidi Atkinson (Steven), Emily Eckstein (Andy Keeney), Stacy Pfaff (Drew), Kelli Brehmer (Nathan), Olivia Eckstein and Jeremy Eckstein; his great grandchildren, Amelia Keeney and Baby Pfaff; his siblings, Alice Stueber of New Ulm, Jean Dummer of New Ulm, Joan Krzmarzick (Jerry) of Rochester and Curt Windschitl (Joanne); and his siblings-in-law, Helen Stein (Vernon), Carol Kuehn (Ralph), Janie Walkush, Leon Rotering (Jane) and Joe Rotering (Judy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Oak Hills Foundation or the New Ulm Medical Center Foundation.
