She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Walden; her stepfather Wolfgang Brey; her husband James Vernard Roberts; her granddaughter Amanda Earl; her siblings, Rev. Theodore Matthiesen, Lawrence "Eddie" Walden, James Walden, Lorraine Schewe and Vernard Walden; and her mother Lydia Walden (Hoppe).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Earl (Charles) of New Ulm, Julie Otto (Grayson) of Woodbury and Tim Roberts (Charyl) of Mankato; her grandchildren, Jarad Roberts (Kristen), Hilary Roberts, Ethan Roberts (Raechel) and Noah Otto; her great grandchildren, Hailey Roberts, Alex Roberts, Avery Roberts and Natalie Roberts; her brothers, Jerome Walden (June) and George Walden; her granddaughter Debra Roberts of Sauk Centre; and her pet Alice.
