She is survived by: her children, Buddy Root (Kay), Ann Ruedy (Jeff), Mary Root, Keith Root, Troy Root (Cheryl) and Richard Root; her siblings, Glenda "Dee" Tollefson (Jon) and Michael Minske (Becky); and her siblings-in-law, Nona Smith, Opal Hofius, Thelma Yess and David Root (Nikki). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
