It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Wayne Gonitzke of New Richland, Minnesota, born in Bottineau, North Dakota, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gonitzke and Alice Gonitzke (Brandt); and his brothers, Darrell Gonitzke and Monte Gonitzke. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Gonitzke of New Richland, MN; his children, Jodi Burton of Schertz, TX, Stephanie Gonitzke (Brett) and Todd Gonitzke of Ringgold, GA.; his grandson Zachary Burton (Maggie); and his great grandchildren, Freya, Erik, Nicholas Burton, Ellen Gonitzke and Anna Gonitzke. He is also survived by relatives and even more friends.
