He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Shurson and Agnes Shurson; his wife Phyllis Andrews; his siblings, Merle, Harold, Charles, Virgil, Beatrice, Marjorie and Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Shurson, Lorayne Shurson, Pat Shurson, Leo Christenson and Roy Largent.
He is survived by: his daughters, Georgia Dinneen (Dennis), Debra Repya (Joseph) and LuRaye Eischens (Howard); his grandsons, Matthew Dinneen (Jen), Kevin Dinneen (Abby) and Tyler Eischens; his great grandchildren, Madison, Ava Dinneen, Charles and McKenna Dinneen; his stepgrandchild Robyn White; his sister Joan McGuire; his brother-in-law Vince Peterson; and also, Cooper, Watson, Molly Geyen (Eric), Haylee, Bodhi, Jacob and Rose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
