It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Hanzel of New Prague, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on June 22, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hanzel and Joella Hanzel (Berg); his son John; and his siblings, John and Mary Schlesinger.
He is survived by: his wife Deb of New Prague; his children, Mary Lisa Neuzil (Vince) of Sumner, Jennifer Von Bank (Randy) and Paul Hanzel (Brenda Belisle) of New Prague; and his grandchildren, Megan O'Malley (Kyle), Katie Irwin, Rachel Schmidt (Dalton), Sophie Busch, Casey Busch, Hallie Von Bank, Jon Von Bank, Joey Busch, Max Hanzel, Ella Hanzel and Annie Hanzel.
