He was predeceased by: his brother Charlie. He is survived by: his wife Helen of New Prague; his son Brian Peters (Cathy) of Rosemount; his grandchildren, Tyler and Kara Peters; and his siblings, Leonard Peters (Doris), Lorraine Provo of Golden Valley and Viola Knoblach (Erv) of Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Wenceslaus School.
