The passing of Peggy Wermerskirchen of New Prague, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Joseph and Margaret T. Shea (Donnelly); her husband Ernie; her daughter JoAnn Simon; and her siblings, James Shea, Verna Engfer Hammer, John Shea and Joseph Shea, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Duane of Shakopee, John (Barb) of Jordan and Daniel (Leah) of Savage; and her son-in-law Jeff Simon of Maple Grove. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 11 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (215 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Peggy was known as a tireless ambassador and volunteer at the Peace Center from 1998 until Covid hit, always smiling and giving of her time for an organization she loved.
