It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille H. Schmitz (New Prague, Minnesota), born in Belle Plaine, Minnesota, who passed away on December 9, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph of December; and her siblings, Cyrilla Klinkhammer, Leona Mager, Gertrude Meger, Viola Weiers, Bert, Steven and Norbert Neisen.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Tupy (Ken) of New Prague, Sharon Wagner (Charlie) of New Prague, Kathy Pikal (Gary) of New Prague, Mary Kubes (Marvin) of New Prague, Shirley Carney (Mike) of Belle Plaine, Roger Schmitz (Amy) of New Prague, Laureen Wermerskirchen (Matt Lehman) of Henderson, Tom Schmitz (Shari) of New Prague, Chris Jabs (Randy) of New Prague, Steve Schmitz (Stacy) of New Prague and Gordie Schmitz (Ann) of New Prague; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Meger of Le Center, Amanda Shimota of New Prague and Leona Barten of Belle Plaine. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren.
