He was predeceased by: his father Milo Korbel; and his brothers, Glenn and Daniel. He is survived by: his mother Angela Korbel (Mayerhofer) of New Prague; his wife Roxanne G. Kohout of New Prague; his daughters, Sommer Yarolimek (Christopher) of New Prague and Ashley Korbel of New Prague; his grandchildren, Lohla and Lydia; and his siblings, Connie Kiser, Wayne Korbel, Edward Korbel (Carolyn), Darrell Korbel, Delores Alejandre (Juan), Linda Salinas, Milton Korbel (Mopsy), Melvin Korbel (Linda), Marvin Korbel (Eileen), Arnie Korbel (Lisa) and Margie Korbel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Duke University in support of Duke's lung transplant program.
