He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Ann; and his siblings, Evelyn Sticha (Ed) and Glen. He is survived by: his sons, Alvin Schoenbauer (Natalie) of Elbow Lake, Carl Schoenbauer (Helen) of Jordan, Larry Schoenbauer (Diane Warnke) of New Prague and Gregory Schoenbauer (Pam Murdock) of New Prague; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Schoenbauer of New Prague, Pat Kubes of New Prague, Jeanne Kubes of New Prague, Mary Jo Kubes of New Prague and Mary Lou Kubes. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bruzek Funeral Home (610 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (215 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071).
