He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Ryder and Wyse; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Reedy of New Prague; his daughter Shannon Dodds (Ben) of Eagle, CO; his grandsons, Sutton, Shaeffer and Sanders; his brother Kirk Ryder (Lucy) of Nashville, TN; his niece Dr. Rebecca Ryder Chivis (Charles) of Norfolk, VA; his nephew Kirk Ryder, Jr. of Palm Springs, CA; and his pet Georgie Girl.
The family wishes memorial contributions be made to The Scott County Fishing Derby, an annual youth fishing tournament sponsored by the Scott County Sheriff's Office OR The Scott County Chapter of "Let's Go Fishing" which enriches the lives of seniors, disabled adults, and veterans by taking them on fishing and boating excursions.
