He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence M. Peters and Margaret D. Peters (Lucas). He is survived by: his wife Juanita of New Prague; his daughters, Nancy Sparrow (Jon) of Burnsville and Kristin Ahmed (Hesham) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Amira and Adam; and his siblings, Marvin Peters (Jeanette) of New Prague, Kay Tuma of Circle Pines and Dianne Bilek (Greg) of Minneapolis.
