He is survived by: his wife Marybelle Viney; his sons, Martin Helgestad (Lori) of Prior Lake and Karl Helgestad (Tara) of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Ingrid Helgestad (Mitchell Johnson) of Springfield, Isaac Helgestad of Little Rock and Grant Helgestad of Prior Lake, Minnesota; and his sister-in-law Marsha Helgestad. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
