Helen Weiers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Weiers (New Prague, Minnesota), who passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Neisen and Gertrude Neisen (Gerardy); her husband Ralph J. Weiers; and her siblings, Pauline Schindle, Ted, Alfred, Norbert and John Neisen.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Hruby (Dick) of New Prague, Gordon Weiers (Claudia) of Glenwood, Rodney Weiers (Debra) of Silver Lake, Monica Valek (Chuck) of Belle Plaine, Margie Ferguson (Jack) of Minneapolis, Carol Finnesgaard (Dale) of Minneapolis and Bill Weiers (Anne) of New Prague. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
She would not meet all her siblings as a group until she was 13 and at that time the siblings made a pact that they would meet every year on the 4th of July; they held to that pact until Covid prevented that from happening.
