He is survived by: his parents, Frank Wergin and Bridget Renlund; his son Jack Francis Wergin; and his brother Theodore Wergin (Jeri). He is also survived by two nieces; his aunts and uncles, other extended family, and beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Francis' son, Jack, to be applied towards his Minnesota 529 College Plan.
