He was predeceased by: his brothers, Norbert Weiers and Edwin "Speed" Weiers. He is survived by: his wife Edna of Union Hill; his children, Jeff Weiers (Sue) of New Prague, Greg Weiers (Jayne) of Lonsdale, Audrey Zurn (Dan) of Belle Plaine, Roger Weiers (Patricia) of Union Hill, Marty Weiers (Farrell) of Parkville, MO and Bridget Smith (Dan) of Shakopee; his siblings, Francis Weiers of Union Hill and Viola Michel of New Prague; and his sister-in-law Leona Weiers of New Prague. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
