She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Marrier and Lillian Marrier (Houle); and her daughters, Laura Benson and Catherine "Cat" Schroeder. She is survived by: her husband David Geis; and her children, Denise Moen (Ernie) of Jordan, Joanne Geis of New Prague and Bill Geis (Mindy) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
